Participants receive two similar samples for testing. Each sample consists of ten pre-conditioned 4" x 11" sheets of heavyweight printing and packaging papers, 6.0 to 16 kN/m (34 to 91 lb/in). Measurements are made according to TAPPI Method T494.
In addition to tensile breaking strength labs may report results for tensile energy absorption and/or elongation to break.
