Participants receive two similar samples for testing. Each sample consists of ten pre-conditioned 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" sheets of printing paper. Measurements are made following TAPPI Method T425, using 15 degree/diffuse geometry, illuminant A/2 degree instruments and 89% reflectance backing. Test samples are selected from a variety of printing papers within the opacity range.
