Participants receive two similar samples for testing. Each sample consists of pre-conditioned 4" x 11" sheets of printing papers. CTS indicates the number of plies to test per sample for the standard 1600-gf instrument and supplies the number of sheets needed to prepare the correct number of plies. Measurements are made following TAPPI Method T414.
